Ousted Grey’s Anatomy star Isaiah Washington could be forced to move out of his home and onto the streets if he’s unable to pay five months in back rent, the Associated Press learned Wednesday.
According to court papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on March 24,property management company Sandalwood Properties claims the actor and wife Jenisa Washington owe $100,000 in unpaid rent on their $20,000 monthly rental.
The property management company is also asking to be compensated for legal fees and $3,333 per day for each day Washington and his wife remain in the home.
Washington, as you may recall, was fired from his role as Dr. Preston Burke on the Emmy-winning medical drama after addressing to Grey’s gay star T.R. Knight with a anti-gay slur.
The actor and his wife moved into the house in April 2008.
