South Africa needs more celebs like Dj Sbu!!!

After raffling his Porsche so that he could send two matriculants to university, DJ Sbu has managed to secure bursaries for more than 300 children. A simple plan to flog his Porsche Boxster in an SMS competition to raise cash for the top matrics of two Gauteng township schools, has snowballed. And now the YFM breakfast-show host and record label boss, whose real name is Sbu Leope, has put hundreds of matrics in touch with companies and schemes that offer them further education and training.

It’s always so inspiring to see local Celebs like Sbu using their status to help those in need…
